Hardman steps down as head football coach at Ottawa Hills

Hardman is stepping down to focus on the baseball program and family. Brandon Carter, an assistant last season for the Green Bears, will be the new head coach.

OTTAWA HILLS, Ohio — Ottawa Hills High School football will be under new leadership next season.

Chris Hardman stepped down as head coach of the Green Bears to focus on the baseball program as well as spend time with his grandchildren and family, the school announced on Tuesday.

He will also transition to becoming head coach of the junior high football team.

Pending board approval, Brandon Carter will be the new head football coach for next season. 

Carter was an assistant coach under Hartman last season as well as the head coach of Ottawa Hills' junior high football team.
