COVID-19 in Ohio: 6,814 new cases reported on Tuesday

The Ohio Department of Health has now reported a total of 1,358,918 cases in the state.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Health reported 6,814 new cases of COVID-19, 459 new hospitalizations and 125 additional deaths on Tuesday.

Reported data as of September 21: 

  • 1,358,918 cases
  • 21,596 deaths
  • 70,655 hospitalizations
  • 1,202,378 presumed recoveries as of Monday
  • 6,247,373 Ohioans (53.45%) have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
