TOLEDO, Ohio — A 17-year-old girl was shot outside of a store in east Toledo Thursday.
The incident occurred outside Rainbow Market on Rogers and Earl just before 1 p.m.
According to a police report, the teen was riding her bike in the alley behind the shop when she was approached by two men who tried to steal it.
One of the men then shot her and fled the scene.
The girl was taken to the hospital, but the extent of her injuries is unknown.
Police say the shooter has not been identified and no one is in custody.
