Victim identified in central Toledo shooting; police searching for 2 suspects

The incident happened near Waite and Prospect Ave. Monday afternoon.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are searching for two suspects after a male was shot and killed Monday afternoon near Waite and Prospect Avenue. 

The victim was identified by the Lucas County coroner as 18-year-old Bryan Williams.

According to the coroner, Williams was found in a driveway and transported to the hospital where resuscitative measures were performed but were unsuccessful. 

An autopsy found the cause of death to be multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is ruled as a homicide. 

Police are searching for a man and woman in connection to the incident.
