Toledo man dead after W. Bancroft St. accident on Sunday

TOLEDO, Ohio — A 49-year-old Toledo man is dead after an accident in central Toledo on Sunday afternoon.

Toledo Police say Tedrick Hill Sr. was turning left onto Elliot Ave. off of Bancroft just before 2:30 p.m.when his car was hit by another vehicle driving in the opposite direction.

Mr. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, 32-year-old Zachary Palmer-Nickols of Bowling Green, and his 5 passengers, including a 9-year-old, two 2-year-olds, and a 3-month-old baby, were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
