Toledo Air Show set for takeoff on Saturday

The 2019 Toledo Air Show will have events for people of all ages beginning as early as 9 a.m.

SWANTON, Ohio — The Toledo Air show is back and ready for takeoff at Toledo Express Airport, beginning Saturday.

Before 2016, there hadn't been an air show in the Toledo area in 12 years. Now, there will be one every three years.

"It's really hard to have an air show here every year in the community, so every three years I think is an outstanding opportunity for the local community to come out and enjoy aviation and everything that goes with it," air show executive director, Mike Timbrook said.
