Sylvania Fire reported trees and wires down on McCord, just north of Central Avenue, causing the road to close.

A tree fell through a house on Indian Trail in Sylvania, coming into a living room.

The house on Indian Trail, right off of Central Avenue, was one of a  line of home that sustained severe damage. At least three to four homes in the neighborhood had trees slam into them.

The homeowner on Indian Trail said she was just sitting in the home when the tree came crashing into the living room. She heard bang and took shelter in the basement.

The tree cut the house in half.

A chance of a thundershower will continue into tonight in a humid setting. The only thing that will keep highs from reaching 90 degrees Tuesday will be scattered showers and thunderstorms. Very heavy downpours will be likely.
