The story of Sierah Joughin's murder will be featured on the Oxygen Channel.

The University of Toledo student was kidnapped while riding her bike near her Fulton County home back in 2016.

She was found dead days later and James Worley of Delta, was sentenced to death for the killing.

The episode coincides with the three-year anniversary of her murder.

Sierah's aunt Tara Ice says her family, FBI agents and detectives who worked the case are featured in the program, which airs on July 15 at 8 p.m.

Justice For Sierah, Inc. scored a major victory in their work to protect others from past violent offenders on December 19, 2018 with the passage of Sierah's Law.

Worley, a previous violent offender, served three years in prison back in 1990 for kidnapping another woman as she rode her bike.

Sierah's Law created a violent offender registry, now used by law enforcement during crime investigations to identify previous violent offenders and where they live in Ohio communities.

The database is also available to anyone in Ohio who wishes to find where violent offenders live by visiting your local sheriff's department or police department.

Ice says Justice for Sierah is just getting started after the passage of the law.

The organization is working to identify cases similar to Sierah's in other states, where similar violent crimes have occurred, with the intent of passing Sierah's Law across the country.

In addition, hundreds of local children have been trained in self-defense and awareness during free trainings courtesy of the Sierah Strong program.

Each child who attended received a KidPrint ID - a laminated card featuring the child's photo, vital statistics, such as height, weight, hair color and a fingerprint to find a missing child.

Justice for Sierah also believes self-defense should be included in Ohio's early education physical education curriculum.

The organization is actively working with educators to develop an approved curriculum and identify school districts to participate in pilot programs as early as this fall.

Justice for Sierah's initiatives are funded by the Spirt of Sierah 5k, held every October in Sylvania Township.
