LUCAS COUNTY (WTOL) - As of 7:00 p.m. on Saturday over 2,000 customers in Lucas County are without power according to a Toledo Edison spokesperson.

Toledo Edison says the outages are a result of a powerful storm front that moved into the area on Saturday afternoon.

In addition, street lights throughout downtown Toledo were down.

Toledo Edison says the street light outage was due to weather.

Lots of trees came down across the area as well including a large branch across Airport Highway near Detroit Ave.
