List: Everything that's allowed to reopen in Ohio throughout June

Here's a list of everything that can reopen in Ohio this month.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — What's next in Ohio's reopening process? Gov. Mike DeWine has already announced a lengthy list of businesses that can hit the restart button throughout the month of June -- including amusement parks, casinos and movie theaters.

These locations listed below must follow safety precautions and restrictions to help slow the spread of coronavirus as they begin welcoming guests back to their businesses. 

It's also important to note that some locations are reopening later than the permitted date, so it's a good idea to check with the business before visiting.

MONDAY, JUNE 1:

  • Banquet halls and catering centers. Read more on the limitations HERE.

MONDAY, JUNE 8:

  • Outdoor visitations at assisted living facilities are now permitted. Read more on this HERE.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10:

  • Aquariums.
  • Art galleries.
  • Country clubs.
  • Ice skating rinks.
  • Indoor facility entertainment centers.
  • Indoor sports facilities.
  • Laser tag facilities.
  • Movie theaters (indoor).

  • Playgrounds (outdoor).
  • Public recreation centers.
  • Roller skating rinks.
  • Social clubs.
  • Trampoline parks.

FRIDAY, JUNE 12:

  • The BMV has announced that driver examination station skills testing will restart. These will be by appointment only. Read more about this reopening HERE.

FRIDAY, JUNE 19:

  • Casinos and racinos. Read more on this HERE.
  • Amusement parks and water parks. Cedar Point and Kings Island, however, are waiting until July to get the 2020 season started. The parks will have a mask requirement, among other safety precautions, which you can read in full HERE. Read Kalahari's June 19 reopening plan HERE.

MONDAY, JUNE 22:

  • Contact sports are permitted to resume practice. This applies to all remaining sports in the state. Scrimmages and training can resume as long as safety protocols are followed.
