COVID-19 in Ohio: 729 new cases reported Monday

The Ohio Department of Health has now reported a total of 1,091,623 cases in the state.

The Ohio Department of Health reported 729 new cases of COVID-19 and 72 new hospitalizations on Monday. The state did not release a reported number of new deaths.

Reported data as of May 17:

  • 1,091,623 cases
  • 19,528 deaths
  • 58,049 hospitalizations
  • 1,045,608 presumed recoveries as of May 16
  • 4,995,375 people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
