Lucas County judge appointed to Ohio Supreme Court Special Commission

OHIO, USA — Judge Ian B. English, presiding judge of the Lucas County Adult Drug Court has been nominated for the Commission on Specialized Docks of the Ohio Supreme Court.

The President of the Common Pleas Judges Association made the nomination with the final appointment by the Chief Justice and Justices of the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Judge English's responsibilities will include  the development and delivery of specialized docket services to Ohio courts, including training programs for judges and court personnel.

In addition, he will make the consideration of any other issues the commission deems necessary to assist the Supreme Court of Ohio and its staff regarding specialized dockets in Ohio courts. 

He fills unexpired term beginning on December 31 of this year.
