North Ridgeville's Aut-O-Rama Drive-In Theatre now open

The theater will be showing Tom & Jerry and Space Jam on its opening weekend.

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Get your popcorn ready!

The Aut-O-Rama Drive-In located in North Ridgeville has returned for its 57th Season.

For its opening weekend, Aut-O-Rama will have a double feature of Tom & Jerry and Space Jam.

In a Facebook post earlier this month, the long-time, family friendly movie theater announced that it would reopen Friday, March 19.

The marquee signage read, "See you in a few weeks. How does March 19th sound?"

During the pandemic, Aut-O-Rama Drive-In introduced a series of rules and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests and employees, those afore mentioned policies will remain in place, indefinitely.

All recommended and required policies, directives, and orders from the Local and state health departments will be followed, as well as any CDC guidelines where applicable.

• 6 feet social distancing must be maintained at any time you are not in, on or within reach of your vehicle.

• If you or any person in your household is not feeling well, please remain home for the safety of everyone.

• Only persons from the same household may be in a vehicle together.

• Buses and any kind of large groups will not be permitted

• Gathering with other vehicles will not be permitted at this time

• Online presale tickets only, at this time.

• We will be operating at a reduced capacity to comply with and encourage social distancing requirements

• 1 car parked in the center between 2 poles only

• If leaving your vehicle, a face covering is highly encouraged

Tickets will be available via online presale only at this time and capacity will be at 50 percent to begin with.

For the time being, outside food and beverage will be permitted in order to provide a "contactless experience" for guests. Concessions are still available to be ordered and paid for either online or in a walk-up style window. To ensure everyone's safety, there will be no refills and guests will not be permitted inside the concessions area.

Precautions around lines for the restroom are being addressed with social distancing rules as well as additional portable toilets.
