They say there's "no free lunch" and now it appears there's no free parking for lunch, either downtown.
And, a proposal designed to close a pay gap between the genders is very close to getting a vote.
Toledo City Councilman Nick Komvies walk us through what that all means on Leading Edge.
TAYLOR DUNGJEN - TOLEDO POLICE
Taylor Dungjen originally made her living covering the Toledo police beat for The Blade. But, she eventually did more than cover cops; she became one.
She discusses her decision to change paths at the Leading Edge table.
KARI GERWIN - TMACOG AND
CHRISTINA KUCHLE - ODNR
Have you ever heard of a "floating classroom?" While for most, "school's out for the summer," this classroom is about to open its doors — or canoes, rather — for the first time ever in Toledo.
Kari Gerwin is the Director of Water Planning for the Toledo Metro Area Council of Governments. She joins Christina Kuchle, the Scenic Rivers Manager from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, to discuss the area's new program at the Leading Edge table.
