In honor of what should have been Officer Dia's anniversary, the Toledo Police Department will hold a toy and dog supplies drive in his memory.

The department is looking for infant and toddler toys in their original packaging for Toledo Children's Hospital, and sealed food and other unused items for dogs for The Humane Society and Lucas County Pit Crew.

All donations can be taken to the Ottawa Park Station at 2145 N. Cove now until July 23.

Donations can be dropped off anytime between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The donations will then be distributed on July 27.
