TOLEDO (WTOL) - Mainly cloudy skies will rule much of the day with temperatures turning cooler as the wind comes off of Lake Erie. Highs will range from the 40s and 50s near the lake and across southern Michigan to the low 70s far south.

A surge of warmer weather will arrive on Thursday with highs soaring into the middle 70s. Several round of scattered rain showers and possible and thunderstorms will be expected on an off through the day.

Rain showers will continue Friday and into Saturday. Rainfall may be steady, soaking and possibly heavy at times. Rainfall of 1 to 2″ is likely before showers end on Saturday night.

Easter Sunday is looking outstanding with highs in the upper 60s under partly sunny skies.
