CLEVELAND — Eighteen more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed among Cleveland residents, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 414.

The day-to-day increase is actually slightly less than Friday, however a woman in her 70s did pass away from the virus. That puts the current death toll in the city at 13.

The Ohio Department of Health reports more than 10,000 cases of COVID-19 across the state, including more than 1,000 added to the tally in the past 24 hours. It's the fourth day in a row that Ohio has broken its own record for most new cases in a single daily period, an indication the state's pandemic peak could be coming.

Cuyahoga County currently leads the state with 1,453 total cases and 52 deaths (out of 451 overall). Cleveland has more cases on its own than all but six whole counties.
