TOLEDO, Ohio — At least four people were injured following a three-vehicle accident in west Toledo early Sunday morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of Jackman and Laskey just after 2:30 a.m.

A woman driving a Chrysler 300 was heading south on Jackman, when a man operating a Kia was on Jackman going the same direction. The Chrysler 300 was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the Kia in the rear. The impact caused the Kia to head into the intersection where it then struck a third vehicle which left the scene and has yet to be located.

Both drivers had passengers in their vehicles. All parties at the scene were transported to the hospital with serious and minor injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
