21-year-old dead following car crash on County Road 15

SENECA COUNTY, Ohio — A 21-year-old is dead following a car crash in Seneca County early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened just before 1 a.m. on County Road 15 south of Township Road 166.

According to police, Noah T. Stockmaster, 21, of Clyde, OH, was driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix north on County Road 15 when he drove off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Stockmaster was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the crash and pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to police, Stockmaster was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this crash. 

Assisting on scene were the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, Old Fort Fire Department, North Central EMS, D&D Towing, and The Seneca County Coroner.
