SWANTON (WTOL) - Two people are in the hospital after a woman overturned her vehicle in Swanton Township on Thursday.
This happened on S.R. 64 west of Wilkins Road.
Kandi Marie Gase, 34, of Whitehouse was travelling westbound on S.R. 64 when she went off the right side of the road. She then over-corrected and went off the left side before overturning.
Gase was ejected from the vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was not wearing her seat belt.
The passenger, Jerrid Vonseggern, 29, of Swanton, was trapped in the vehicle and freed by Whitehouse Fire and Rescue. He was wearing his seat belt and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by Life Flight from the Whitehouse Fire Station to St. Vincent’s Hospital.
Alcohol is considered a factor in the crash and charges are pending the completion of an investigation.
