TOLEDO, Ohio — One driver was arrested following an OVI checkpoint in Toledo on Friday night.
The checkpoint was located at McCord Road and Dorr Street between 9 p.m. and midnight.
A total of 458 vehicles were checked. Seven vehicles were diverted to check for impairment.
The driver who was arrested was also cited with child endangerment.
Another driver was cited with a minor misdemeanor for possession of marijuana and was released.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, was planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
