TOLEDO, Ohio — Are you ready for a change in body, mind and spirit? Need a boost to get you going toward your goals? It's time once again for the Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge.
Challengers signed up between Oct. 1-18 and you can watch their journeys and play along at home throughout the Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge season, which runs through May. What can you expect during the challenge? Host Kelly Heidbreder has been busy cooking up (literally) new ideas for the program, along with brand new recipes, tips from medical professionals to help you achieve your best, and much more.
Challengers will head to Super Fitness North (343 New Towne Square Dr., Toledo, OH 43612) before Oct. 18 to weigh in, pick up some fun Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge gear and donate to Auggie's Quest.
The fee is $30. All registration proceeds will be donated to Augie’s Quest to fund ALS research. Augie’s Quest was founded by Augie Nieto, who was the co-founder and CEO of the exercise equipment company Life Fitness. Nieto was diagnosed with ALS more than a decade ago.
After you register, you'll be invited to be part of the SFWLC community on Facebook. Here you can share tips, cheer each other on and communicate with Kelly.
The Super Fitness Weight Loss Challenge will go from Oct. 19, 2021, for the first official weigh-in until the finale on May 17, 2022. Super Fitness and WTOL 11 suggest consulting with your physician before starting any weight loss program.
Weigh-ins and workouts for November and December are optional. Weigh-ins for January, February, March, April and May are mandatory. Contestants must weigh in before the gyms close on the first Monday of each month, except for the final weigh-in.
Any contestant that misses a mandatory event or weigh-in after Jan. 1, 2022, is automatically eliminated and moves to the Wild Card bracket.
