CLEVELAND — A Transportation Security Administration officer at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the administration.

The screening officer's last shift was today from 4 a.m. until noon at the North Checkpoint.

The details were confirmed to 3News Tuesday.

As part of their effort to keep the public up to date, the TSA has created a map, outlining airports where officers have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Hopkins officer is the latest positive test. According to the TSA, the officer is receiving medical attention while quarantined at home. So far, seven others have tested postitive for the coronavirus in airports in California, Georgia and Florida.

As of Tuesday, Ohio had 50 total confirmed cases of the illness.

The TSA has also made changes to some carry-on rules to accommodate travelers during the outbreak, allowing passengers to carry bottles of hand sanitizer up to 12 ounces. But, bottles bigger than the standard 3.4 ounces will need to be screened separately.

The TSA also allows passengers to ask agents to change their gloves.
