City of Cleveland confirms second COVID-19 related death, 8 new cases

CLEVELAND — On Wednesday, The Cleveland Department of Health confirmed the city's second coronvirus related death in addition to eight new cases.

The patient was in their 80's.

The Department of Health also confirmed nine new cases, bringing the city's total to 128. The new cases include males and females between the ages of 50 and 80 years old.

The Department is working to contact those who have been in close contact with those diagnosed. 

As of Wednesday afternoon, there are now 2,547 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ohio. 65 people have died and 679 more are hospitalized.
