TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating a shooting at North Erie Street and Galena Street in central Toledo on Sunday.
Police say 55-year-old Gary Dickerson and 23-year-old Justin Walker got into a verbal occupation. Walker told police that Dickerson aggressively approached him and he felt threatened, which led to Walker shooting Dickerson in the left ankle.
Dickerson was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
