TOLEDO, Ohio — One man was taken to the hospital after being shot in central Toledo early Monday morning.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. in the 2900 block of Albion near Central Ave.
Police say Kevin Giles was walking home when a silver vehicle occupied by four males stopped him.
Giles told police one of the men asked for a lighter, then shot in him the hip.
Giles was taken to the hospital and his injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
