A Northwestern Ohio New Year’s Eve Tradition! Run in the New Year with a race that takes “Two Years to Finish!” (unless you run faster than 15 minutes, then it only takes one year!) This is a 5K race that starts on New Year’s Eve at 11:45 p.m. All finishers receive a custom finisher’s medal. There are awards for overall, masters, grand masters, and senior runners, along with age group awards at least five deep.
Chef Jeff & Co. present a five-course prix-fixe menu. This is $90 per person plus tax and gratuity. An optional wine pairing and additional course is available.
Sip on suds and featured cocktails and dance the night away at Fleetwood’s Tap Room to tunes from DJ One Tyme, or head up to The Armory on the fourth floor and enjoy live music from The Grape Smugglers. Enjoy a balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight. The fun continues until 1 a.m.
Don’t let construction ruin the tradition! Anyone and everyone is welcome to the 90th Annual Polar Bear Plunge on Jan. 1 at 2:30 p.m. Grab a Santa Hat and come celebrate! The location will be at Buttonwood Park located on Hull Prairie Road in Perrysburg.
