TOLEDO, Ohio — City of Toledo residents will be able to utilize free disposal of bulky solid waste items on Saturday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Free Disposal Day will take place at the Hoffman Road Landfill located at 962 Hoffman Rd. Residents are allowed a truck or trailer full of items. Commercial disposal will come with a fee.
Residents must provide proof of residency to participate in the form of a valid photo ID and current utility bill.
Acceptable items include excess trash, furniture, carpeting, mattresses, wood waste and scrap metal.
If you miss the May 30 drop-off, the other three dates are July 11, Sept. 12 and Nov. 28 at the same location.
