TOLEDO (WTOL) - Cherry Street Mission Ministries announced they are looking for a new CEO as current CEO Dan Rogers has decided to step down.

The organization says Rogers will expand his ministry beyond Cherry Street Mission and will make way for a new CEO to take his place.

Rogers has been the CEO at the mission for 14 years. The organization says he “changed the way our area addresses poverty and homelessness in northwest Ohio."

Cherry Street Mission Ministries are searching nationally for a new CEO. Rogers will act as CEO until a new one is seated.

The mission says they will work to ensure operations and services continue as normal as the transition is made.
