TOLEDO (WTOL) - Allegiant Airlines will now offer non-stop flights from the Toledo Express Airport to the Florida Panhandle.

Allegiant will work with Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport to provide this new service. To celebrate, the company is offering fares on the new route as low as $59 each way.

The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly and will now serve four cities from Toledo Express.

“This new, nonstop service will connect northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan to exciting vacation destinations on the panhandle of Florida for the first time,” said Paul Toth, president and CEO of the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. “The commitment shown by Allegiant to continue growing at Toledo Express Airport is a testament to the strength and vitality of our local market.”
