Tucker was originally charged with murder when he shot and killed Deshawn Gott last January when he was 17. His case was moved over to adult court, his extensive juvenile record playing a part in that decision.

His charges were reduced to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery when he entered an Alford plea in November.

The motive for the murder is unknown, but Juvenile Prosecutor Lori Olender said in November that it appeared to be a robbery gone bad.

Gott had posted pictures of himself on his Facebook page at Hollywood Casino, saying he had won big.
