Infant bouncers recalled for fall hazard

An infant bouncer has been recalled due to a fall hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the Stokke Steps Bouncer can detach from the Stokke Steps Chair, posing a fall hazard for the child in the bouncer.

The bouncers are for children from birth up to the age of about six months.

The recalled bouncers were sold on Amazon and Stokke's website from February 2014 through December 2018 for about $200.

About 5,400 bouncers are included in the recall:

Consumers are advised to stop using the bouncer immediately and contact Stokke for a free repair kit.

You can use the bouncer and the chair separately, just not together.
