CLEARWATER, Fla. — Two of the happiest places on earth are about to combine forces.
Twenty-five new Disney stores opened in Targets across the country, including in Clearwater.
Disney merchandise also went on sale online and on Target’s app on Friday.
Target’s Disney stores will be a “shop in shop” type of layout. The mini-shops will be around 750 square feet of space around kids’ clothes and toys.
“Disney and Target share a common vision to provide our guests and consumers with innovative and unique experiences, and high-quality product,” said Bob Chapek, chairman of Disney parks experiences and products.
Target said another 40 locations could open their doors by this time next year. Also, the superstore is planning on opening a new store in 2021 at the western entrance of the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida at Flamingo Crossings Town Center.
