TOLEDO, Ohio — "X-Files" fans, you'll have to wait a little longer to catch star David Duchovny in Toledo.

Duchovny was to be at the Stranahan Theater on July 11, but an "unforeseen shift in his shooting schedule" is requiring him to postpone the visit.

The Stranahan Theater date is Duchovny's only date in the U.S. The rescheduled date will be announced later, a news release said.

If ticket holders need a refund, they will be available at the Stranahan box office and points of sale.

In a statement, Duchovny related that he was excited about visiting and that his fans' outreach and enthusiasm had been amazing.

"I was really looking forward to meeting everyone," he said. "When it does happen, it will be special."

Aside from starring as Agent Fox Mulder in one of the longest running sci-fi series in TV history, Duchovny is also a singer-songwriter and a New York Times best-selling novelist.

Duchovny is to take the stage to talk about all of his careers in the industry and answer any questions you may have for him.
