TOLEDO, Ohio — Caylee Kirby was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and started working for WTOL 11 during the summer of 2019. She joins us from WBUP-ABC 10 in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan. While at WBUP, Caylee was a reporter and weekday anchor for the 6 p.m. show.
Caylee attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where she majored in Journalism and Media Studies with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. At UNLV, she was part of the student run news team, the UNLV Cheerleading team, and in a sorority. She is also in the process of getting her master’s degree in Communications and will finish in fall of 2019.
Caylee is excited to call Toledo home and to be able to tell stories in the community. When Caylee isn’t working she loves to travel, workout, and spend time with friends and family. She is also a huge fan of baseball and has a goal of visiting all the Major League Baseball stadiums.
