TOLEDO, Iowa — Tyler Seggerman joined WTOL 11 in June of 2022. Before coming to Toledo, Tyler spent two years in Lima, Ohio, working as a weekend sports anchor/reporter. Prior to his leap into sports, Tyler worked in Texas and Minnesota as a news reporter.
He hails from Salinas, Calif., a town located in the central coast region, which is also known as “The Salad Bowl." He is the oldest of three siblings in his family.
Tyler graduated Oklahoma State University with a degree in sports media. During his time in Stillwater he also worked in the OSU athletic department amd with the Tulsa Drillers, the AA team for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Born in the month of March, Tyler 's favorite time of year is March Madness. Yet, you’d be hard pressed to find a sport he doesn’t enjoy. Although he’s chosen to pursue athletics as a career, Tyler somehow finds time to also enjoy the art of traveling, socializing and anything to do with a body of water nearby.
