TOLEDO, Ohio — Roxanne Elias is a Multi-Skilled Journalist with WTOL.

Roxanne has spent the last five years covering an array of issues in communities across the country. She began her television career behind the scenes as a producer and writer for XETV, the CW affiliate in San Diego, California. Her first on-air position was at an ABC station in Rochester, Minnesota where Roxanne worked as multimedia journalist helping to cover breaking news, state and local issues, as well as reporting on immigration issues.

Most people will recognize Roxanne from the Blade, where she spent about a year working as a multimedia journalist. At the Blade, Roxanne was part of the digital team producing stories around Toledo and surrounding communities.

Roxanne was born in Oakland, California, but raised in the Middle Tennessee area. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a major in Broadcasting Journalism and a double minor in Theater and Spanish.

When she is not reporting, Roxanne enjoys running, catching the latest movie or staying at home enjoying a good book.  She loves telling stories and being part of the Toledo community.
