Damp & Dreary with Drizzle Possible -- Very Mild!
Back to mild December weather this week with temperatures out the door already in the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. Cloudy skies, with occasional mist and drizzle will make for a damp and dreary Monday. Very mild weather this afternoon with highs in the low and middle 40s. Clouds will begin to thin through the day Tuesday with dry and very mild weather. Even warmer air moves in for Tuesday with a breezy high near 50 degrees. While much of this week will be mild for mid to late December the weather pattern gets much more active in the days leading up to Christmas.
Friday will be a windy and warm day with scattered heavy rain showers, especially during the evening. Showers linger into Saturday. A rain/snow mix is possible with a winter weather system around Christmas. While widespread accumulating snow looks unlikely, this will be one we will keep a close eye on!
