If you are out of work or worried about your job, WTOL and The Blade want to help. On April 8, we invite you to come to Career Camp. It's free, and it'll help you prepare for your job search.

Career Camp takes place at SeaGate Centre, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. The professionals will offer tips to make your resume stand out. You'll also learn what to say during an interview and how to dress. There will be training seminars and group presentations.

Career Camp is not a job fair, but it is a great way to jumpstart your job search. The United Way and other organizations will also be there to offer advice about public assistance.

There is free shuttle service from The Source and free downtown parking at several locations.

Dozens of vendors will be there from trade schools, colleges, unions and other organizations.

If you want to look and do your best in that next interview, come to Career Camp on April 8. It will be time well spent.
