UPDATED--Flooding continues around the area

The rain started up again Tuesday morning -- then stopped. It has begun to rain again in some areas.

Putnam County

A Level 3 road advisory has been issued in Putnam County. This means you may be arrested if found driving on water-covered roads.

Hancock County

As of late Tuesday afternoon, the Blanchard River is just below flood stage, reports Tim Miller, though a light rain has started to fall.

A shelter has been opened in Findlay by the Red Cross. It's located at 120 W. Sandusky. Also, residents can pick up sandbags at the Parker Building downtown.

Ottawa County

It's not raining now, as of Tuesday afternoon. The water was up above 6 ft. but has been receding, reports Brad Harvey.

A shelter is open at the Boy Scout House at Pratt and Third.

The river forecast models enter estimated rainfall, but once rain starts, current data is fed into the models to update them. Forecasts may change significantly between the onset of the event and late Wednesday.

    On Saturday, the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority leaders and the City of Toledo hosted "Burgers and Baseball" at the Weiler Homes Field. LMHA offered signups for kids wanting to join a t-ball team as well as anyone who would like to coach.
