Obama to attend police graduation in Columbus

President Obama will be in the Buckeye state Friday, March 6 to attend the graduation of the Columbus police class.

The Columbus police recruits had learned in January that instead of being sworn-in as officers, they would be let go.

Mayor Coleman announced last week that he would use money from the stimulus plan to keep them on the job.

President Obama will join Governor Ted Strickland and Attorney General Eric Holder at the event.
