Last call in Michigan -- 4 a.m.?

(WTOL) - Bar patrons in Michigan may soon be able to drink longer. A proposed law would extend "last call" to 4 a.m.

It's all part of an effort by Governor Jennifer Granholm to erase the state's $1 billion deficit.

Bar owners would have to purchase a late-night permit. That permit would cost about $1500 a year and raise an estimated $4.6 million a year.
