(WTOL) - A bus mix up has one Toledo family very upset.

She was dropped of at the corner of Bancroft and Reynolds several blocks from her house, and she's only six.

Grandmother Barbara Fisher Called 11 for Action. "She gets dropped off right at the end of this driveway and walks up to the front porch," she tells us.

But check out what happened Wednesday, February 25. The bus drove right by the house, continued down Reynolds and dropped her at the corner of Bancroft and Reynolds.

Fisher says it's three long blocks, about a quarter of a mile away down a busy street. The little girl, Autumn was walked home by strangers. "She was at some strange people's house. They brought her back, which was nice."

Anything could have happened, especially to a six-year-old. Fisher said, "They have a paper that gives everybody's address, so to me, there's no excuse to pass the house and keep on going."

Mika spoke with the spokeswoman for TPS. As we suspected, there's a new driver on that route. He missed the house, but will not do it again. In fact, the director of transportation had talked to the family personally and has given them his word.

For you parents out there, make sure kids know not to get off the bus if its not their spot. If you are changing their drop-off point for whatever reason, give the transportation department a call.
