The students at BGSU are facing a fee increase, and they're not very happy about it.
The undergraduate student government approved a $70 fee increase to help finance the new $36 million Stroh Center.
$60 dollars would go to repay the cost of the new athletic center while $10 would go toward new parking.
Athletic Director Greg Christopher says this building is essential to the future of the campus and the community as a whole.
If the increase is approved by the State, the new fee wouldn't take effect until the center opens in 2011 or 2012.
