Mayor Finkbeiner To Consult With State Officials Regarding Economic Stimulus Package

Tomorrow Mayor Finkbeiner will drive to Columbus to meet with various State officials to discuss how the funds from Ohio's economic stimulus package will be utilized.  Two members of the Mayor's Joint Intermodal Task Force will be accompanying him -- Jerry Chabler (Member of the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority Board of Directors) and Richard Martinko (Director of the University of Toledo's Intermodal Transportation Institute).

Mayor Finkbeiner, Mr. Chabler, and Mr. Martinko are scheduled to meet with John Haseley (Chief of Staff to Governor Ted Strickland), Mark Shanahan (Director of Ohio Air Quality Development Authority, and energy advisor to Governor Strickland), Jolene Molitoris (Director of Ohio Department of Transportation), Ronn Richards (Governor Strickland's Infrastructure Czar, and CEO of The Cleveland Foundation), and Mark Barbash (Director of Ohio Department of Development).
