Parents sue OSU for son's elevator death; your Valentine's Day wishes

They're suing OSU because their son died trying to get out of an elevator that was stuck. And will your Valentine's Day be a little low key this year?

Parents of an Ohio State student who died in an elevator accident are suing the university. But, OSU claims it's not responsible.

Back in 2006, Andrew Polakowski was crushed to death trying to crawl out of an elevator stuck between floors. His parents are suing for $50,000 in damages over his death.

But, university leaders claim the teen was responsible for his own death. They say he helped overcrowd the elevator -- and they claim that's why it got stuck.

The attorney for Polakowski's parents believes it's "absurd," Ohio State is blaming the freshman for his own death and claims the elevator should have had an alarm to warn if it was overloaded.

So, what do you think? Do the parents have a case? Or, was it their son's own fault for overloading the elevator and then trying to crawl out of it?
