National cell phone ban; royal racism

National cell phone ban

The National Safety Council is urging states to ban drivers from using both hand-held and hands-free cell phones while driving. The group says drivers who use cell phones are four times more likely to crash, and any phone conversation on the road is like driving drunk.

Do you think an outright cell phone ban is a good idea?

Royal racism?

A British royal is causing a major ruckus over possible racist comments. It all stems from a video made three years ago by Prince Harry and his military buddies.

The video also shows the prince using some possibly offensive language about two colleagues and making a fake call to the queen, his grandmother. It was reportedly made in 2006, but was just released by a UK tabloid. The prince apologized even though no one in the British military complained.

Should the newspaper have released the video in the first place, since it was made among harry and his military friends? Do you think he should have apologized over the latest comments caught on tape?
