ANCHORAGE, ALASKA (AP)- A sex offender wins a lottery that supports victims of sexual abuse.
The Alaskan man had the winning ticket in Friday's $500,000 raffle.
He has been convicted three times on sexual abuse and is a registered sex offender.
According to Alaska state law, all games of chance must benefit a charity.
The man says he has turned his life around and will donate $100,000 to STAR (standing together against rape), the same charity that was sponsored by the raffle.
