Sex Ed in K-12; Taxed by mileage

Sex education

How young is too young to learn about sex? Two years ago, Cleveland's mayor started a program in the public schools to help students make informed decisions about sex in grades K-12.

Are kindergartners too young to learn about sex, or is it a good idea to help the kids learn what is right and wrong when it comes to their bodies?

Some states may start taxing you on miles instead of gas. It's all because of new technology vehicles that are saving you money. State lawmakers worry fuel efficient cars could pose a threat to road upkeep, which is paid for largely with gasoline tax revenue.

The state of Oregon has started a pilot program to track drivers with GPS to pay a mileage tax instead of a gas tax. Drivers say programs like this could be an invasion of privacy. Others worry a mileage tax could eliminate financial incentives for buying fuel efficient vehicles.

Is a mileage tax a better idea than a gas tax, especially if it means a possible drop in gas prices? Or do the costs not outweigh the benefits?
