Water kerfuffle has residents hoppin' mad

Millicent Johnson pays for water each month with her $200 condo association fee. But for hours Tuesday, she and other residents at the Hidden Cedars complex on Garden Rd. couldn't use their water.

So they turned to Call 11 for Action problem solver Mika Highsmith.

It's normal for Johnson to wake up early with her new baby and walk into the kitchen to prepare a bottle. But without water, that task was pretty hard to complete Tuesday morning.

In fact, with the plumbing completely out in the whole complex Johnson and her neighbors couldn't do much of anything, including brush their teeth and take a shower.

At first, Johnson thought it was just temporary. But after several hours, things were still dry. So she called the front office -- but kept getting voicemail. That's when she called Mika.

After Mika intervened, water service was restored. The owner says there had been a water line break.
